I’m Holly, I’m the local Daisy First Aid Trainer for Worthing & Bognor.

Here are 5 things about me…

Why I became a Daisy First Aid Trainer….

I am so passionate about First Aid, I believe it’s such a valuable skill which everyone should learn, especially parents. I taught as a freelance trainer for Daisy First aid last year and loved it so much I decided to take on my own area.

My background/own experience…

I’ve been lucky enough to travel the world as Cabin Crew since I was 18. Every year I must complete my refresher training which includes first aid. We are trained to deal with everything from minor injuries to cardiac arrest and CPR. I particularly enjoy the first aid element to being cabin crew.

I’ve dealt with all sorts of medical emergencies onboard the aircraft and it’s proven to me just how valuable having first aid skills can be. It can literally be the difference between life and death.

I am also Mum and since having children (especially clumsy inquisitive children) it’s reiterated just how important having first aid knowledge really is. How you act in those first few moments is vital.

What I love about teaching…

I love to see parents and carers leave my classes feeling confident and reassured that they have the knowledge to keep their little one safe if the worst was to happen.

My proudest moment…

My proudest moment was teaching my first ever Daisy First Aid class and knowing that I helped parents and expectant parents to feel more confident in their parenting journeys!

Something fun/interesting/ or important about me….

I am Mummy to two little boys Finnley and Harper.

They are exactly 2 years apart and share the same birthday, which I think is pretty cool. I was the talk of labour ward! It also means buy on get one free on birthday parties which is great news.
