Meet the Trainer

About your local trainer

Hello, I’m Dani and I’m the owner and lead paediatric first aid trainer at Daisy First Aid Eastbourne.

I am a mum of a beautiful girl and have worked for a popular UK airline as cabin crew for many years. We have extensive first aid training and experience within this industry and I’m delighted to pass on this life saving knowledge to parents, carers, schools and professionals in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. I previously worked for five years as a lifeguard & during Covid I joined the NHS.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, carer or teacher I have a course suited to give you the confidence to respond promptly and effectively to any first aid incident or emergency.

The courses we offer are not scary, we take the fear out of first aid and instead give you the knowledge and confidence to deal with the situation.

Our Baby First Aid course covers all the essential first aid skills every parent and carer of a young baby should know — from responding to choking and unconsciousness to recognising signs of serious illness. Perfect for expectant parents, new mums and dads, grandparents, and anyone who cares for a baby. Available as an in-person class in your local area or as an online course you can complete at your own pace, on any device.

Baby And Child First Aid

2 hours | Newborn to childhood | In-person & online
Our most popular course. This multi award-winning class covers first aid for both babies and children, giving you the skills and confidence to handle a wide range of emergencies — from choking and CPR to burns, seizures, and allergic reactions. Suitable for anyone who cares for a baby or child. Available as a hands-on in-person class with one of our expert instructors, or as an online course you can complete at your own pace, on any device.

Anaphylaxis Awareness

Delivered at your workplace or setting
A serious allergic reaction can escalate rapidly — and knowing how to respond could save a life. This course provides anyone responsible for the safety of others with an in-depth understanding of how to recognise the signs of anaphylaxis, administer an auto-injector (such as an EpiPen), and put appropriate management plans in place. Delivered on-site at your workplace, school, or community setting, this session is suitable for any individual or team who may need to respond to a severe allergic reaction.
