About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah a qualified Paediatric First Aid Trainer for Daisy First Aid covering Carlisle, The Lakes, South West Scotland and West Northumberland. As a mum of two mischievous children under 6, I know first hand how daunting it can be when accidents happen to our little ones and that we would do anything to protect our children from harm.

Having previously worked as a training professional and delivered first aid at work courses mostly to the corporate market, the move to share simple family first aid knowledge was crucially driven by the significance of how important it could be to a family one day.

Brilliant two day Paediatric course! It’s the first time I’ve enjoyed first aid training and even a few weeks later, I feel as confident as I did at the end of the final day. I would definitely recommend Sarah!

C Davis

The Daisy First Aid course was fantastic. I had previously done first aid courses through work, however since having my little boy I was all too aware I didn’t have the first aid knowledge for a baby & I felt like I’d forgotten all previous course information. I really felt the need for a refresher & knew a baby/children specific course was what I needed. I finally got round to doing the Daisy course with Sarah.
Sarah was caring, down to earth & made the atmosphere relaxed so people were happy to ask questions & share any worries.
I felt the course was set at the right level of detail. And by doing the practical skills this also helped to reinforce the key points in first aid.
I can’t recommend the Daisy course with Sarah highly enough, for any mum, dad, grandparent or carer…don’t put it off!

R Simmons

Really enjoyed this course, very informative without the use of jargon or complicated medical terms! Lots of really useful topics covered within an informal relaxed atmosphere, would highly recommend to any parent.

N Sladden

Thankyou for such a great class.  I’m so pleased that I got the opportunity to attend.  I have gone from feeling I would not be able to do anything in an emergency situation to feeling like I could hopefully “do something”.  I feel much calmer during mealtimes with my baby girl now.  I also think the accompanying book I purchased is great – I will keep it handy, but hopefully wont need to use it! Thanks again,

G Douglas

I can honestly say that we all enjoyed it (Level 3 Paediatric First Aid) but most importantly we have all learned a great deal and fell confident to use it. Thank you!

L Batey

Just to say thank you so much for last week, I’ve come away with information and knowledge I can actually remember, your calm and patient delivery of the course really enabled that, so thank you.

I’ll keep a look out for your next course, as my other half would like to do it.
