Hi, I’m Julie, the very proud owner of Daisy First Aid Camberley, Fleet, Basingstoke, Newbury, and everywhere in between!
As a mum of three lively, headstrong children—especially the youngest, who fearlessly tackles everything—they are the driving force behind every decision I make.
I’ve certainly faced my fair share of emergency situations, and these experiences, combined with life’s ups and downs, have shaped who I am today.
I’ve been a first aid trainer for over six years, starting as a freelancer with the previous Camberley owner. Paediatric First Aid wasn’t new to me, as I’d taken these courses when I worked as a nanny in London during my younger years.
I quickly discovered how much I loved teaching, knowing that the skills and knowledge I pass on could literally be the difference between life and death. When the opportunity to buy into a franchise arose, I jumped at it—and then went on to purchase two more!
We offer a variety of courses for parents, grandparents, childminders, nannies, teachers, and anyone else who cares for children. But that’s not all! We’re now also a registered and approved centre with Qualsafe, offering First Aid at Work qualifications. Something for everyone!
We ensure a welcoming, friendly environment where it is a safe space to ask questions (there are never any silly questions) and plenty of opportunity to practice on the manikins, until you’re 100% happy. Our courses are informative, interactive, and fun! While we know first aid is a serious subject, we also believe that if it’s enjoyable, it’s memorable. And that’s exactly what it needs to be!
