I’m the local Daisy First Aid Trainer for East Cheshire
Here are 5 things about me…
Why I became a Daisy First Aid Trainer…
My journey to becoming a First Aid Trainer has been shaped by both my personal experiences as a mum and my passion for empowering others. For many years, I’ve poured my heart into designing beautiful, functional organiser bags, helping busy mums feel in control and prepared for the everyday chaos of family life.

But I began to feel a pull toward something more – something that would allow me to connect, teach, and make a deeper impact in the lives of other parents. I wanted to support mums not just with what’s in their bags, but also with the knowledge and confidence they carry within themselves.
While attending a Baby Show, I found myself sitting opposite a Daisy First Aid stand. After chatting with one of the trainers I had a light bulb moment. I instantly knew: this was what I was looking for. The chance to teach life-saving skills, to help parents feel calm and confident in moments of crisis, and to share my own experiences in a way that empowers others.
My background / own experience…
As a mum of 3, I’ve dealt with my fair share of knocks, bruises, breaks and nosebleeds – the usual childhood dramas. But I’ll never forget the day a close friend’s two-year-old had a seizure. In a panic, she flung her child to me, screaming for help. I tried to stay calm, but inside I was terrified. At the time, I had no idea what to do. Thankfully, the seizure passed quickly – it turned out to be a febrile seizure, something I only understood properly after my training. That moment stuck with me, and now I want to make sure other parents never have to feel that same fear and helplessness. I wanted to help them feel organised in every part of life, especially during those high-pressure moments when calm really matters.
What I love about teaching…
Becoming a Daisy First Aid Trainer has been such a rewarding journey. I’ve loved every moment of the training, and now I’m so excited to help others feel prepared and in control – whether you’re a brand-new mum, a grandparent, or someone needing First Aid at Work qualifications.
There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the relief and empowerment on someone’s face as they realise they can do this. My classes aren’t scary or overwhelming—they’re designed to be relaxed, fun, engaging, supportive, and confidence-boosting!
My goal is to help you feel calm, confident, and ready – because when the unexpected happens, knowledge truly is power.
My proudest moment…
One of my proudest moments is overcoming a life-changing diagnosis. After a failed hip replacement, I was told by doctors that I might never walk again unaided and running was out of the question. However, I refused to accept that outcome. I pushed forward, explored every possible avenue for recovery and after more surgery from an amazing hip impingement surgeon, not only did I walk again—I worked har over 5 years on my physio and can now run and horse ride again. This taught me that no matter what people tell you, you’re capable of, you’re capable of so much more. It Reminded me how powerful determination, support, and self-belief can be. I’m incredibly proud of everything I’ve achieved so far, and I know becoming a Daisy First Aid Trainer will be one of my next great achievements—one that I’ll look back on with the same pride and gratitude.
Something fun/interesting/important about me…
Something a bit quirky about me—I’m hypermobile, which means my joints are super flexible (my thumbs are especially bendy, which always gets a reaction in class!). I’ve always been on the go, but yoga has become one of my favourite ways to slow down, reset, and bring balance to my busy life. I am also a fan of an Ice Bath!!
