Hi, I’m Lottie – your local Daisy First Aid Trainer for West Manchester.

I run friendly practical baby and child first aid classes in the M28, M29, M44, M46, WA3, and WN7 areas – perfect for parents, grandparents, carers, babysitters, and anyone who wants to feel more confident in an emergency.

Alongside my work with Daisy First Aid, I’m also a full-time GP Practice Manager with a background in the ambulance service. I’m also a mum and step-mum – so I completely understand how overwhelming it can feel when you’re trying to keep little ones safe.

Why I Became a Daisy First Aid Trainer

Like many parents and professionals, I’ve had moments where I wondered, “Would I really know what to do if a child stopped breathing? What if they choked? What if they had a seizure?”

That worry, combined with my passion for healthcare, is what led me to Daisy First Aid.

I wanted to take my frontline experience and turn it into something empowering for other families – calm, practical first aid knowledge that could save lives. Most importantly, I wanted to help people learn life-saving skills in a way that’s relaxed, down-to-earth, and completely pressure free.

I also spent many years as a Rainbow, Brownie, and Guide Leader, working closely with children and families. Supporting young people and giving them confidence has always been a big part of my life, and now I get to do that through first aid training too.

What to Expect from My Classes

Whether it’s a one-hour baby essentials class or a full two-hour session, my goal is to help you feel calm, confident, and capable.

We’ll cover:

  • CPR and recovery position for babies and children
  • Choking, bleeding, burns, bumps, head injuries
  • Febrile seizures, meningitis signs, and more

All in a supportive, informal environment – no exams, no pressure, just practical help and plenty of reassurance.

Where I Teach

I run sessions in local venues across West Manchester and offer private classes in homes – ideal for new parents, antenatal groups, or family bookings. I also welcome opportunities to work with:

  • Nurseries and schools
  • Community centres
  • Parent support groups or baby classes

If you’re in M28, M29, M44, M46, WA3 or WN7 and would like to learn essential first aid skills in a welcoming setting, I’d love to meet you.
