About Me

Hi there, I’m Kate, the proud owner of Daisy First Aid East Chester and Wrexham areas. It’s my pleasure to teach our award-winning paediatric first aid classes to parents, carers, grandparents, activity leaders, childcare professionals, schools and students in my area.

When I’m not working as a Daisy or a paediatric nurse I like to spend time with my husband and daughter outside going for walks or to the beach or baking at home. I really enjoy teaching clinical/first aid skills and have done so in my job role. I am friendly, approachable and a good listener which I believe would helps me be a great Daisy trainer.
It was because of my previous knowledge that I found some aspects of parenting a new baby not so daunting and because I know parenting is a hard enough journey as it is, I  love to be able to help new parents and help them grow in confidence. I also want to teach first aid to carry on my role of ensuring children have safe and happy childhoods.

My classes are ‘fear free’ (no gruesome videos or compulsory role play) and are designed to be accessible, fun, relaxed and friendly. My aim is that you leave one of my classes feeling prepared and equipped with the right skills and knowledge to know what to do should a first aid incident or medical emergency arise.

Whether you are expecting your first child or are an experienced carer if you would like to learn or brush up on first aid life -saving skills then do get in touch!
