Our award winning baby first aid class offers parent’s the skills and confidence to help their children in an emergency situation. Our classes cover newborn babies all the way up to children of 12 years old.
Classes are relaxed, fun and practical and will give you hands-on training for a variety of situations where time can make all the difference. You can chose to come to our venue class, or arrange a class in your home and we’ll come to you!
Classes include training for burns, bleeding, fevers, choking, resuscitation, CPR and much more,
- suitable for parents/grandparents/friends & family
- give you the skills & confidence to act fast in an emergency
- babies under 12 months welcome
- classes in your own home for groups of 4+
- evenings & weekends available
Our classes are great to do if you are expecting your baby, either as a couple, NCT group or with family and friends – the class is suitable during pregnancy.
Equally, if you haven’t managed to do it before baby (or you have older babies that you are about to start weaning – or even toddlers that are starting to wonder into dangerous situations) then the class is still a great thing to do.
Our baby first aid class will leave you feeling empowered and and prepared.

About Me
I’m Helen a qualified First Aid Trainer for Daisy First Aid covering Durham and surrounding areas. I am also a mum of two beautiful but very active and adventurous children, I have first-hand experience to many situations including long term illnesses and numerous accidents, especially those that “most boys under 5 can get themselves into”.
As parents we would do anything to protect our children from harm and keep them safe. However most parents have no idea what to do in a real emergency.
Accidents happen, and our children do become unwell from time to time. I believe that first aid training can give parents (and those looking after your precious little ones), vital skill and confidence to deal with emergency situations.
Working as a training professional delivering accredited First Aid at work courses to business, the concept of sharing my knowledge and simplifying it to teach family first aid was an obvious extension to my training delivery.
