This 2 hour class is perfect for anyone that has a baby or child and wants to learn some basic first aid skills without being overwhelmed with technical information.
The session empowers parents/grandparents and carers and gives you the confidence to act fast in an emergency.
Babies under 12 months welcome
The class covers:
- Infection control when giving first aid
- CPR & recovery positions
- choking
- meningitis
- anaphylaxis
- burns
- head injuries
- febrile seizures
- broken bones
- poison
- bleeding & bandaging
Additional Information:
Babies under 12 months are very welcome to join you. There is plenty of space for buggies and please feel free to bring along a play mat or bouncy chair or anything else that may make your life easier during the class.
